Archana began Kathak at nine, trained under Guru Mulla and Pt. Maneesha Sathe, took her Masters in Performing Arts in Kathak, and founded Archana Nrityalaya in 1994. Her teaching balances rigorous technique with the confidence to perform.

Online classes
The class is in Pune. The students are not.
Guru Archana has taught Kathak over video call for years, in small batches arranged around the hours that work where you live. Same syllabus, same graded path, the same eye on your posture — one student completed her Nrityavisharad entirely online.
For a family abroad it is often the nearest thing to a classical training at home, and a good deal less than one costs locally.
