Structured progression through compositions, chakkars and abhinaya, with examination guidance up to Nritya Visharad for committed students.
Beginners welcome
Thoughtful training for students, professionals and homemakers. You do not need previous dance experience to begin Kathak as an adult.
Personal guidance
Focused video-call training for learners outside Pune, from fundamentals through advanced preparation when the format suits the student.

For girls and women aged 15–45. No previous dance experience is required.

The studio sits just off Sinhagad Road (also written Sinhgad Road), a short drive from most of south-west Pune.
Weekday and weekend batches are organised by age and level. Share the learner's age and any previous dance experience on WhatsApp, and we will suggest the most appropriate current batch.
Before your first class
Yes. Children, teens and adults can begin without prior Kathak or dance experience. The right batch is suggested after a short conversation about age and goals.
Classes are held at Anand Fitness Vision, Chandrakant Dangat Patil Pavilion, Vision Cricket Ground, near Sinhagad Police Station, Anand Nagar, Sun City, Pune 411051, near Sinhagad Road.
Absolutely. Many adult students begin alongside work, college or family responsibilities. Batches are grouped by level so you can learn at a comfortable pace.

The academy offers a one-year certificate course for girls and women aged 15–45, covering Kathak fundamentals, Ganesh Vandana and a performance-ready classical piece.
Students travel to the Sinhagad Road studio from Sinhagad Road, Anand Nagar, Sun City, Vadgaon Budruk, Dhayari, Nanded City, Warje, Kothrud, Hingne Khurd, Parvati, Narhe and Ambegaon. If you are further away, online Kathak classes over video call are also available.
Yes. Guru Archana has taught Kathak over video call for years — one student completed her Nrityavisharad entirely online. Online batches suit learners outside Pune or with schedules that make travel difficult.
Children begin at seven, once they can hold posture and count a taal cycle. The first year focuses on tatkar, hastak and stage confidence rather than examinations.
